Commitment to Justice

The Choice: Integrity vs. Extremism

In the race for Wisconsin Supreme Court, the choice couldn't be clearer. On one side, we have Judge Maria Lazar, a seasoned jurist committed to the Constitution and the rule of law. On the other, a career political activist with a record of pushing out-of-touch, radical policies.

Two Records. Two Philosophies. One Choice.

Wisconsin deserves a Supreme Court Justice who applies the law as written—not a politician who tries to rewrite it from the bench.

Judge Maria Lazar: The Independent Jurist

Judge Lazar believes that in a democracy, the people of Wisconsin have the final say. She has pledged to honor the choices Wisconsinites make through their elected representatives.

  • Upholding the Law: Committed to protecting the current 20-week compromise, a standard that provides stability for Wisconsin families and medical professionals.
  • Judicial Experience: Nearly 12 years on the bench and 25 years as a practicing attorney.
  • Impartiality: A record of issuing opinions based on the facts and the law, even when they conflict with her personal beliefs.
  • Context: Wisconsin Republicans warn against radical changes to existing abortion protections.

Chris Taylor: The Radical Activist

Chris Taylor’s record isn't just political—it’s extreme. As a former legislator and Planned Parenthood policy director, her agenda is far outside the Wisconsin mainstream.

  • Extreme Policy: Authored 2017 Assembly Bill 656, which sought to allow abortion "at any time during her pregnancy"—effectively removing protections up until the moment of birth.
  • Documented Proof: View the text of Taylor's extreme legislation here: 2017 Wisconsin Assembly Bill 656.
  • Partisan Past: A career spent as a lobbyist and legislator, with a failed record of 279 bills introduced and only 12 passed.
  • Conflict of Interest: Refuses to say if she would recuse herself from cases involving her former employer, Planned Parenthood.

I have served honorably, honestly, and independently for nearly 12 years. I believe in the goodness and common sense of my fellow Wisconsinites, and I know they will not be fooled by the same, tired political playbook.

— Judge Maria Lazar
